Specializing in midwife-assisted home birth, water birth, and birth center births, WOMB midwives believe that birth can be an ultimate transformative event granting women an opportunity to discover their inner strengths. Midwives endeavor to create a safe and protected environment where mothers and babies can meet each other face to face for the first time in an atmosphere of love and security. Our midwives also counsel women regarding all fertility issues and provide well-woman gynecological care. Depending upon your needs, you may be referred to a licensed midwife, a certified-nurse midwife, or a direct-entry midwife. Each follow slightly different philosophies, and one might be more appropriate for one woman than another.
